ROOKIE Triathlon (XS) 14-15 yo

The Rookie Triathlon 14-15 years will take place on Sunday 25th June 2023.

  • The start will be given at 09:30 am from the banks of the Lake du Der.
  • The deposit of the bike and the equipment in the transition park will be done exclusively on the day of the race between 7:45 and 09:15 am.
  • DISTANCES: 200m – 12km – 3km
  • Minimum age: 14 and 15 years old during the current year (born in 2008 and 2009)
  • Number collection can only be done by the athlete himself/herself in the presence of his/her legal guardian. Athletes will have to show their identity card and provide a medical certificate mentioning the aptitude to do a triathlon in competition.
  • The medical certificate is valid for 6 months.

  • 09:30 am – « mass start » departure

SWIM – 200mHuub

  • Start in a single wave from the banks of the Lake du Der.
  • One lap of 200m.
  • Wetsuits are allowed if the temperature is below 24°C.
  • Wetsuits are mandatory below 16°C.

BIKE – 12km

  • Warning: time trial bikes and extenders are not allowed (for more information, see the sport rules).
  • Non-DRAFTING event.
  • 1 lap of 12km around the Lacs du Der.
  • Bike course closed to traffic
  • No refreshments
