My First Triathlon Experience

MY FIRST TRIATHLON EXPERIENCE will take place on Sunday 25th June 2023.

  • The start will be given at 10:00 am from the banks of the Lake du Der.
  • IMPORTANT: All bikes are allowed, provided that they comply with safety standards.
  • Bikes and equipment may only be deposited in the transition park on race day between 07.45 and 09.45 am.
  • DISTANCES: 200m – 12km – 3km
  • Minimum age: 16 years old during the current year (born in 2007 or before).
  • To pick up the start number, athletes will have to present their identity card and a medical certificate mentioning the aptitude to do a triathlon in competition.
  • The medical certificate is valid for 6 months.
  • You can download a sample certificate here.
  • No limit of race numbers

DEPARTURE TIMES

  • 10:00 am – « rolling start » Departure

TIME LIMITS

  • No cut off

As requests for authorisation are currently being processed, please note that the following itineraries and timetables are still subject to change.

SWIM – 200mHuub

  • Departure in several waves from the banks of the Lake du Der.
  • 1 loop of 100m.
  • Wetsuits are allowed if the temperature is below 24°C.
  • Wetsuits are compulsory if the temperature is below 16°C.
  • No warm-up in the water is allowed before the start.

BIKE – 12km

  • All bikes are allowed, provided they meet the safety standards.
  • 1 lap of 12km around the Lac du Der.
  • Bike course closed to traffic.
  • 1 refreshment point.
  • Closing of the bike park at 9.00 am.
