MINI-KIDS 6-9 years old

The OPENLAKES MINI-KIDS will take place on Sunday 25 June 2023.

  • The start will be given at 13:00 from the banks of the Lake du Der.
  • The drop off of the bike and equipment in the transition park will take place exclusively on race day between 12:00 and 12:45.
  • DISTANCES: 50m – 2km -400m
  • Minimum age: Must be between 6 and 9 years old in the current year (born between 2014 and 2017).
  • Start numbers collection can only be done by the athlete himself/herself in the presence of his/her legal guardian. Athletes will have to show their identity card and provide a medical certificate mentioning the aptitude to do a triathlon in competition.
  • The medical certificate is valid for 6 months.

DEPARTURE TIMES

  • 13:00 – « mass start » or rolling start departure

SWIM – 50mHuub

  • Start in a single wave from the banks of the Lake du Der.
  • One lap of 50m.
  • Wetsuits are allowed if the temperature is below 24°C.
  • Wetsuits are mandatory below 16°C.

  • Non-DRAFTING event.
  • 1 lap of 2km along the Lake du Der.
  • Bike course closed to traffic.
  • No refreshments.
